Introduction & Information We Collect
RapiTouch is a typing practice app. This Privacy Policy explains what data we process, why we process it, and what rights you have. We designed this policy to be explicit and readable, while covering core GDPR expectations and other applicable privacy rules.
Controller: RapiTouch.

This policy applies to the RapiTouch website and related services. We aim to follow GDPR principles (lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimization, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity, and confidentiality) and similar privacy obligations in other regions where applicable.
We only process data needed to run the app and secure the service:
- Account data: email address, profile display name, avatar URL (if provided by your sign-in provider).
- Typing activity: topic, duration, WPM, accuracy, error count, language, and timestamps for saved sessions.
- AI feature usage logs: generation timestamps and user ID for rate limiting abuse prevention.
- Technical/session data: essential authentication/session tokens and local preferences in your browser.
We do not sell personal data.
How We Use Your Data
- Authenticate your account and keep you signed in.
- Save and display your typing history, stats, and achievements.
- Enforce fair usage limits for AI text generation.
- Maintain platform security, debug service issues, and prevent abuse.
- Respond to support and legal requests.
When GDPR applies, we typically rely on these legal bases:
- Contract: to provide your account and requested app features.
- Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, and improve service reliability.
- Consent: where required for specific optional processing.
- Legal obligation: where we must comply with applicable law.
Retention & Deletion
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described here. If you delete your account, related app profile/session records are deleted according to system relationships and operational constraints. Limited records may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, backups, or legal compliance.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authenticated access controls, secure transport (HTTPS), and managed infrastructure controls provided by our service providers. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we continuously work to reduce risk.
Cookies, Local Storage & Tracking
RapiTouch uses essential cookies/local storage for login sessions and user preferences. We do not use advertising cookies in the core app experience described by this policy.
You can control cookies in your browser settings; disabling essential storage may break sign-in or saved preferences.
Depending on your location (including EEA/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, and request data portability. You may also withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To request access or deletion, contact us at support@rapitouch.com.
RapiTouch is a typing practice service and is not designed for medical use or protected health information (PHI). We are not acting as a HIPAA-covered entity or business associate for normal app usage. Do not submit medical records or PHI to the service.
The service is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law in their region to provide valid consent for online services. If you believe a child submitted personal data inappropriately, contact us and we will review and remove data where required.
Policy Changes
We may update this policy when product, legal, or operational requirements change. Material updates will be reflected by the updated date on this page.
